After spending few weeks with MeteorJs I would like to share with you best video tutorial resources, I found so far. Some of you maybe prefer learning by reading approach, but when starting with something new I always like to look what’s available at Youtube.

I’m not ashamed, and I don’t mind, why would I. Youtube is an excellent choice if you want to learn something how about software development.

If you’re like me, these video tutorials will show you everything you need to know about MeteorJS. Where to start, how it compares, what to do. I can guarantee, after watching these videos, give it 24 hours and you’ll be able to create your first MeteorJs application from the scratch.

Note: If this tutorial was helpful, need further clarification, something is not working or do you have a request for another Ionic post? Furthermore, if you don't like something about this blog, if something is bugging you, don't like how I'm doing stuff here, again leave me a comment below. I'm here to help you, I expect the same from you. Feel free to comment below, subscribe to my blog, mail me to dragan.gaic@gmail.com, or follow and mention me on twitter (@gajotres). Thanks and have a nice day!

PS. If you want my help, if possible (even if it takes you some time to do that), create a working example I can play with. Use Plunker for AngularJS based questions or jsFiddle for jQuery/jQuery Mobile based questions.

Getting Started With Meteor Tutorial

This video was my first contact with MeteorJS. I read few articles before, but this was the point when I decided to give it a try. Maybe it was not about Meteor; maybe I was influenced by John Sonmez, video creator and owner of the SimpleProgrammer blog, who knows, who cares.

The point of this video is not to learn how to create a basic application. By watching this video, you’ll get a better feeling of what’s Meteor and what’s required to create your first application.

Meteor For Everyone

While not as great as the New Boston channel, LevelUpTuts still manages to pull an excellent video collection ranging from SASS up to Android development.

I made my first MeteorJs application after watching this YouTube channel. I especially like Scotts (the narrator) voice and video production. He conveys everything we need to know, and every step is accompanied with a working example.

Anangular Meteor Tutorial

This tutorial playlist is an excellent MateorJs introduction for senior AngularJs developers. Why change sides when you can use the best of the both worlds.

Uri Goldshtein, the owner of this channel, is not a native English speaker, but he’s brilliant and pleasant enough.

Meteor Learning

While previous tutorials were introducing you to the MeteorJs, this one will show you real life solutions and examples. And most important, how to properly structure your future application.

Personally, I’m just going through this list, and I can say it’s a treasure trove.

Building a mobile app with Meteor, Mongo, and Cordova

This is a new MeteorJs topic, and I haven’t been able to find a better video source. If you do know something, please post it in the comments below.

To me, this is also the most important topic. Mobile development is what I do, and I would like to see what MeteorJs can offer in this field. Unfortunately, mobile Meteor development is still not available in Windows environment so I need to manage with VirtualBox Linux distro.
